31 days of forgiveness

So. I’ve been busier than a beaver for the last month and a half working on a little project I’d like to call, “31 Days of Forgiveness!”

I’ve been writing my little heart out and pray this series blesses, encourages, and inspires you. I’m dreaming of a forgiveness revolution to take over the world!

I’ll be joining Nester, Emily, and the others in writing/posting for 31 days in October {that starts next Monday y,all!!}. And since most of my writing is done, I’ll actually be scheduling my posts, but believe-me-you, I’ve been writing for well over 31 days straight. And I’ve got a headache, bug-eyes, and mush brain to prove it!

Last October, I decided just days before the start of the month to write for 31 days on faith. And then. Sometime toward the end of 2011, I decided to turn that series into an Ebook. I revised and edited, added bonus chapters and material, a study guide, and a pretty cover.

31 Days of Faith has been such a blessing that I decided to do it again this year. Only this year, I wrote the series knowing I’d be publishing it as an Ebook, and also … wait for it … a paperback! The bulk of the writing is done for the 31 days series on the blog, but I’m still working on bonus content and a study guide. I’m hoping the book will be ready by the end of November … and of course I’ll keep you updated!

Anyway. So what of this series on forgiveness? Oh friends, it’s rocked my world. Rocked. Upside-down rocked. In a totally good way, I promise! I must warn you now though … some of the daily posts are novels a bit long. As I was researching, and reading, and digging, and diving deep into the Word of God … there’s just so much I wanted to share with you.

Anyway. We’ll be exploring the definition of forgiveness, why we need to forgive, how we forgive, and what forgiveness is not. We’ll talk about love and forgiveness. Judgement. Forgiving the unforgivable. Trust. Doormats. Condoning. Enabling. The Prodigal Son … and so much more.

Y’all! Do you know “unforgiveness” isn’t in the dictionary? Let’s not hold on to something that isn’t even a word! <– tweet this

If you, or someone you know, struggle with unforgiveness, bitterness, resentment, or anger … I beg you to join me everyday in October for 31 Days of Forgiveness. <– tweet this

Your life will never be the same. True story.

{special thanks to Erin at Design by Insight for the pretty 31 days button}

    I. Can’t. Wait…to see you at Allume, AND to read your series. I would so love to do a 31 day series myself, but I know I just can’t right now. Not the right reason for me…maybe next year :) In my off season, I’ll be gleaning everything from your on season :)

    Very nice post and right to the point. I don’t know if this is really the best place to ask but do you people have any thoughts on where to get some professional writers? Thx :)
