Hello beautiful boy! Hello beautiful mama! You may remember these photos? Well, little Fin {Finley} finally decided to grace us with his presence … it’s not like we’d been waiting forever or anything!
We ended up with some beautiful photos … but boy, oh boy … this young man made us work for them! It wasn’t all bad though … just meant I got to spend some extra time with his mommy & grandmom!
Since the little man wouldn’t fall asleep for us, we actually started with the shots below. After a bit, he was done with this and decided he wanted to nurse … for … I don’t know … FOUR hours straight! Hee!
The program for the morning was:
~ nurse
~ let baby fall asleep
~ gently get him into position
~ snap maybe … five photos … and
~ he’s awake & fussin’ … so
~ repeat
Here we had him sleeping, and slowly moved him into the shots below … he got close to his source of nutrition and latched onto whatever he could get a hold of for dear life! I’m smiling just remembering!
Nellie, Matthew … you two are the sweetest people and couple around … God has blessed you beyond belief with this amazing bundle! And I couldn’t be happier for you.
the last sepia shot is to die for. it is making me weep right now. i can’t effectively express how beautiful it is. wouldn’t you give everything you own for a shot like that? patience paid off!!!
Absolutely BREATHTAKING!!!!!!!!! The one in the basket—- what perfection!
I am sooo grateful to have this moment in our lives captured! Even if it was of a hilariously fussy, mom-obsessed, wide-awake, poopy-bottomed, beautiful, amazing little man! Thank you for your patience! I’m in love with every photo!
