Our Christmas vacation and we’re off to a great start!
Wynter fell off the hammock. And I promise you … this photo doesn’t do this nugget justice!
We flew into Exuma yesterday … it’s cold {50’s}, windy, cloudy, and did I mention windy and cold? Anyway … CJ, Hunter and I were inside, while Piper and Wynt were outside playing on the hammock.
Inside, the TV was on, and CJ had his headphones on listening to music. And when CJ has his headphones on listening to music, the music is so loud, the neighbors can hear the song he’s listening to! Have I ever mentioned how many times I threaten to get him a hearing aid?
But over the blare of the music & TV, I could’ve sworn I heard Wynter screaming. I got that heart-dropping-to-my-feet feeling and listened some more … sure enough! she came hobbling up to the house screaming. She’d fallen off the hammock and hit her head on the corner of the base of the hammock stand.
Blagh!
And how is it a mamabear can always hear her cubs crying out for help? I pray no matter the situation or circumstance this mamabear will always know when her cubs need her!
By bedtime, Wynt was feeling much better and I was breathing easier … and seriously … praise God it wasn’t anything more serious, as the healthcare down here is virtually non-existent.

Please give Wynt a hug from me. That nugget looks seriously painful…for her AND you! Hope she’s feeling better soon and your heart has stopped racing. BTW – you’re an awesome mamabear!
