So … my Piper turned ten on Sunday and I wanted to share a couple of things we used to celebrate!
This was her classroom treat …
And these were her birthday invites!
Both items were inspired from things I saw on Pinterest here and here {links to original source}. But of course, I enlisted the help of my fav designer {who happens to be on maternity leave, so be sure to check in on her blog for info on when she’s back in the designing game!}.
I love when something I do from Pinterest actually works for me, cuz, um, I’ve had my share of Pinterest-fails!
How ’bout you? Are you “pin-collector?” Do you try the things you pin? Do they work for you? Have you had any major fails?
Overall, I’m woman enough to admit that I’m thoroughly addicted! Have a great weekend y’all!
I do love to collect pins, and this year made a resolution to try one Pinterest inspired item every week and then report on my blog if it was a success or a fail. So far my biggest fail was a cheesecake I made. The caramel glazed burned to a crisp! And I had one near fail when I followed the directions on the pin without consulting the original post. The pin said to put Elmers glue on canvas and it would create a 3 dimensional art iece you could paint over….but the glue absorbed into the canvas. Puff paint was the key!
gosh,10 is such a big deal!!! your pictures looked like the girls had fun!
pin fails? i found this one day… http://pinstrosity.blogspot.com/
10!! 10!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!! I love the treats and invite– of course! YOU really know how to make every special occasion special and dazzling. I still think pinterest is pretty spectacular!
Love the invite and the cereal donation idea…very cute for a sleepover!
