Hello … a quick note that I haven’t made a decision yet on our giving project. The response was overwhelming and I’m prayerfully considering each request. I’m going to have the teen help me, and she’s traveling for a few more days. I’ve also decided not to share each request with the littles. Once Taylor and I make a decision, I’ll let the girls know what we’re doing and who will be blessed by our decision.
My goal is to send the notes out on Monday to the recipients.
In full disclosure, some of the needs are smaller and not necessarily in need of $1,000.00 … so I may split some of it up so more needs can be met.

If you carry the list of “runners up” over into the New Year and have a PayPal link, I’d love to help whittle it down. I’m sure others would as well- $5, $10, $20… adds up quickly! Especially when people know it will go directly to someone in need. A few handfuls of people donating the equivalent of a Starbucks drink can help you work through the list even after the tinsel comes down and the trees hit the curb. Really wonderful to think of how you are easing these people’s burdens.
