Green eggs, blue milk, and red pancakes … can only mean one thing! April Fool’s Day!
A few weeks ago, I found some really cute ideas and was sure I’d do them this April 1st. It’s a little harder with us traveling and I got a little lazy. Even up to this morning, I just wasn’t sure I wanted to do anything.
We’re usually traveling over April Fool’s … so we really don’t ever do anything. What the girls don’t know, they won’t miss, right?
At the very last minute before breakfast … I was sure we didn’t have any food coloring, but found some tucked away in the kitchen. So I snuck the appropriate colors in our breakfast food before the girls came in for breakfast.
OHMYWORD!
I can’t tell you how exciting it was to watch them realize something was a little “off” this morning. They were laughing and giggling and exclaiming to each other!
Seriously. I’ll never skip this holiday again!
