I was so excited to photograph this session!  These kids are beautiful … not just on the outside, but on the inside.  And I’m not just saying that.

Look at them.  They radiate beauty … and in my opinion, I don’t think you can radiate beauty like that if it isn’t coming from inside.

This family has been through a huge trial … Ben was diagnosed with thyroid cancer a few years ago.  I think he was in second grade when he was diagnosed?  His surgeries and treatments take place in Boston, so that leaves the family apart for some time during the year.  Not to mention the strain of praying all is well with your baby.

Ben is doing well right now, but continues to have check-ups in Boston.  It’s something that will always be part of their life now.

I’m just so inspired by the beauty and grace this family radiates … the kind you feel in awe of.  Seriously.

The kids … and Leo, were so fun during this session.  They had all kinds of ideas on what we should do for images … it was just a joy to photograph them!

Not to mention … I’d been struggling with wanting to use my own images for our Christmas cards this year.  After this session, I was so inspired to get my girls out in that field and take their photos … I did it!
